Shortcomings
Old Data (Pre-2000): there are missing data points for cases that precede 1/1/2000.
Reason: DOAH's public records are sparse for docket entries from last century.
Impact: mild (only 24% of these records have data points that precede 1/1/00). Plus, roughly 1/6 of those impacted records experience minimal data loss.Total Cases Unaffected: the "Number of DOAH Cases" (4th row of each statistical profile) is not impacted by this shortcoming. In other words, the data for the "total case count" has no shortcoming.
