LOCAL RULE 08 | SPECIAL SET HEARINGS UP TO 30 MINUTES
Once you have secured hearing time, please do not contact the Judicial Assistant to confirm any hearings.
Notice of Hearing and Pleadings MUST be uploaded through CMS – with all supporting documents as required by Local Rule 10A - no later than five (5) working days prior to said hearing. Failure to comply with Local Rule 10A may result in your case not being heard. All cancellations must be done via the Court Management System (CMS) immediately by the scheduling party.
IT IS MANDATORY that all parties consult with each other regarding availability.
Please DO NOT CALL the Judicial Assistant to cancel or confirm your Motion Calendar hearing.
You might need to reference it during your pursuit of justice.
For instance, you might need to understand certain local rules to recover from the damages that lawbreaking judges/lawyers have inflicted upon you (see this example of a Florida judge who outright committed perjury).
