LOCAL RULE 18 | TRIAL PROCEDURES FOR JURY & NON-JURY TRIALS
We understand and expect that many cases will settle after placement on a trial docket. However, we expect that if your case does resolve, as a professional courtesy to the court, an e-mail or a phone call will be placed to the judicial assistant as soon as possible, so that we can properly manage the rest of our docket.
You might need to reference it during your pursuit of justice.
For instance, you might need to understand certain local rules to recover from the damages that lawbreaking judges/lawyers have inflicted upon you (see this example of a Florida judge who outright committed perjury).
